The first thing that your patients expect you to have is knowledge. They seek help from you because they believe that you have the knowledge to understand their problem. If someone has a pain in heart then he will visit a cardiologist. The cardiologist should possess the knowledge to help the patients as much as he can. If there's something you don't know then take the help from your seniors. It is always important to study books related to medicine to enhance the knowledge.

2) Responsibility

The doctors should act in a responsible manner. The patients want to act in a manner that assures them that you'll be giving the right services. Every patient has his own demands. But this is something asked by every patient. A doctor has to understand the problem first before conducting a surgery or whatsoever. If anything goes wrong, then the doctor has to take the responsibility. A doctor should understand every case properly before taking it up. If it seems too hard for you to handle then refer the patients to someone else, to doctors who can handle the patients and save their lives.

3) Humanity

Never take a case just because you want to make money. The patients want you to help them with care. They want you to help them by thinking about their health. Money should be a secondary factor. The most important thing to you should be the health of your patients. The health of your patients should always matter the most because you cannot risk the life of an individual. Risking the life of an individual will obviously hurt the family members and the patient as well. This is your chance to serve the humanity so utilize this opportunity and do the best you can for people around you.
